2. Introductory provisions
- These terms govern the reservation of seats in the restaurant and other areas of the premises (each a “venue”) via the reservation form on the website, by phone or by e-mail.
- The guest is the person who makes the reservation. If the guest is a consumer, the provisions of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, and Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, also apply.
- For selected reservations the Operator requires a reservation fee. Its rules are set out in these General Terms and Conditions for Reservations.
3. Making a reservation
- In the reservation form the guest selects the venue, date, time, number of guests and, where offered, the length of the visit, and enters their name, phone number and e-mail.
- The times offered reflect the opening hours and available capacity at the moment of booking. Reservations must be made with the advance notice stated in the form.
- Only the number of guests offered in the form can be booked online. For larger groups please contact us by phone or e-mail.
- The guest is responsible for the accuracy of the details provided. We may contact the guest at the given e-mail and phone number regarding the reservation.
4. Confirmation of the reservation
- A reservation becomes binding when the Operator confirms it by e-mail.
- For some venues reservations are subject to approval by our staff. The guest first receives confirmation that the request has been received, and the reservation becomes binding only once it is approved. The Operator may decline a request, in particular when capacity is full.
- If a reservation requires a reservation fee, it is confirmed only after the fee has been paid successfully and on time.
- Reservations are free of charge unless a reservation fee is required. Prices of food and drinks follow the current menu at the premises and are paid on site.
5. Changes and cancellation by the guest
- You can cancel your reservation via the link in the confirmation e-mail, or contact the Operator by phone or e-mail.
- Changes of date, time or number of guests are handled by the Operator subject to available capacity; there is no entitlement to a change.
- If you cannot come, please cancel your reservation as soon as possible so that the table can be offered to other guests.
- Cancellation of a reservation with a reservation fee and refunds of the fee are governed by these General Terms and Conditions for Reservations.
- Contractual penalty: If the customer does not cancel the reservation at least 48 hours before the agreed date or does not arrive without prior cancellation, a contractual penalty of CZK 500 per reserved person will be charged.
- Payment of the contractual penalty: The contractual penalty will be settled by offsetting it against the reservation fee paid in advance.
- If the guest cancels the reservation at least 48 hours before the agreed date, the reservation fee paid will be refunded in full.
6. Cancellation by the Operator
- The Operator may cancel a reservation for serious reasons on its side (e.g. closure of the premises, technical failure, force majeure). The Operator will inform the guest without undue delay.
- In such a case any reservation fee paid is refunded in full.
- The Operator may cancel a reservation made with obviously false details or if a required reservation fee was not paid on time.
7. Withdrawal from the contract
A consumer cannot withdraw from the reservation contract within 14 days under Section 1829 of the Civil Code. The contract concerns catering and leisure services provided on a specific date, to which this right does not apply under Section 1837(j) of the Civil Code. A reservation can be cancelled under Article 5 of these General Terms and Conditions for Reservations.
8. Complaints and out-of-court dispute resolution
- Complaints can be submitted using the contacts in Article 1 or in person at the premises. The Operator will handle them without undue delay, within 30 days at the latest.
- The Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Prague 1, www.coi.cz, is competent for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes.
- Compliance with the Operator’s obligations is supervised by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority and, in the area of personal data protection, by the Office for Personal Data Protection.
9. Personal data and final provisions
- The Operator processes personal data (name, phone, e-mail, reservation details) in order to handle the reservation. Details are available on the Privacy Policy page.
- Payment card details are entered only on the secure page of the ČSOB payment gateway; the Operator neither receives nor stores card details.
- Matters not governed by these terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. In the event of any discrepancy between language versions, the Czech version prevails.
- The Operator may amend these terms. A reservation is governed by the version in effect when it was made.
